Pesarattu/ green gram cheela

Pesarattu, made from green gram is a healthy n tasty dish. It contains a lot of nutrients and keeps u fuller for longer. If u aiming to loose weight , this dish helps u do so. It is really good for pregnant women, as it is rich in iron n protein.

here we go with the recipe...

Ingredients :

  1. 1 cup of green gram/pesarlu
  2. 1/4th cup of raw rice
  3. 2 tbsp of toor dal/kandi pappu
  4. an inch of ginger
  5. 4 green chillis
  6. 1tsp of jeera 

Recipe:

Wash n soak green gram, rice n toor dal over night (for 1 cup of greengram add 3 cups of water).In the morning , add greengram,rice,toordal, ginger n chillis to mixer n make into a fine paste by adding little water. Take the mixer into a bowl n add jeera, salt.

Pour a laddle full of batter on the pan, n make dosa. Fry it till brown.(If u wish u can add some grated carrot n chopped onions on top).Serve it with coconut r peanut chutney.
